The Puerto Rico Bellydance Fusion Fest 2026 is an international celebration of movement, culture, and connection. Over three days at the Francisco Arriví Theater, we bring together artists and enthusiasts from around the world.

Puerto Rican artist and producer with over 20 years of experience in bellydance. Trained in ballet and modern dance, Karlos blends movement, theater, and storytelling, and is also known for creating and producing original micro-theater works.

In this workshop we will explore the refined technique of silk, the ancient stories and secrets behind its use, its energy, and its representation in Far Eastern culture, while immersing ourselves in an oriental choreography full of nuances that we will learn to draw in the air.

“Al Andalus” is one of the rich historical periods that flourished in the south of what is now Spain. The blend of Arab-Moorish heritage in the Iberian Peninsula gave us a refined and complex musical style. Understanding its historical legacy and representing it choreographically with a renewed spirit, flamenco echoes and oriental influences takes us on a musical and sensory journey.

This Arabic pop bellydance choreography will help you connect with the lively and energetic rhythms of modern Arabic music. Angel will guide you through a fun and dynamic Bellydance choreography that combines solid technique with a playful and daring personality. This class highlights the contemporary Arabic pop style while staying rooted in bellydance, making it an exciting and accessible experience that fits perfectly for all audiences.

You do not need a choreography class to learn strong drum solo technique. This masterclass is focused on technique and designed to elevate your bellydance drum solos. We will explore how different isolations fit different sounds in the music—from dums & teks, rolls, accents and layered rhythms—so your movement choices feel musical, intentional and confident rather than random. We will work with small and intricate muscular movements, as well as large, explosive and dynamic actions, and how to transition smoothly between them. I will also share some of the unwritten rules of performing a drum solo and the details that separate a good performance from a truly captivating one.
